**ANY ITEMS ORDERED VIA THE UCSD Bookstore Medical Web Store WILL REQUIRE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION OF RETURN. **
Please contact our Medical Web Store Customer Service staff directly (ask for Scott or Erik) (800)520-7323 to confirm your return is eligible for refund. Authorized returns must arrive in resalable condition.
*All categories of refundable merchandise require a receipt to obtain a refund.
TEXTBOOKS: The Course Materials (textbook) policy has changed for refunds, exchanges, and credits (referred to as "refund" throughout this policy). This policy supercedes any other refund policy previously printed or published. To see the entire policy, please Click Here
GENERAL AND MEDICAL BOOKS: may be returned for refund, exchange or credit within 14 days if they are in resalable condition and are among the titles currently carried in the Bookstore.
NONREFUNDABLE MERCHANDISE: medical instruments, Medical (MDTEST), other testing (REFEXM) books, and magazines.
COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE: All products purchased from the UCSD Bookstore are warranted against defects, by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer's warranties apply from the date of purchase. For assistance, please contact the warranty provider. Terms of warranty may vary. All new products are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product.
In our experience, many problems can be resolved with the assistance and technical expertise of the manufacturer.
Items purchased from UCSD Bookstore and returned within 10 days from the date of purchase with the original packaging, receipt or invoice are eligible for refund or exchange. All returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Please include all accessories with any returns. This includes software, manuals, cables, adapters, etc. Returned items that do not include all peripherals may be returned to the customer and/or charged on a per item basis. All returns are subject to additional inspection after the return is made. Customer is responsible for any missing items.
UCSD Bookstore does not accept returns on opened software. Defective software products may be exchanged for the same title only within 10 days of purchase. Non-defective software that has been opened is not returnable under a
