These beautiful medallions were sculpted to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. They are cast in bronze and measure 3 inches in diameter and a full 1/4 inch in thickness. The beautifully crafted bas relief portraits were digitally sculpted by medical illustrator and portrait artist David Rini, a member of the Johns Hopkins faculty, and the final medallions were struck at the Medalcraft Mint in the Green Bay, Wisconsin. Reverse side has the School of Medicine's 125th Anniversary logo.
These medallions make a perfect gift for a JHU graduate, honored guest, retiree, or anyone wishing to celebrate and commemorate the wonderful history of this great institution.
